    Full Moon Ride

    7:00 PM-9:00 PM
    11/12/2019
    Bike Bakersfield
    Beach Park
Beach Park Loop, Bakersfield, CA, United States

Join us for a family-friendly, all-ages cruise starting at Beach Park and following the bike path to the Marketplace. Experience a gorgeous Bakersfield night at 7 p.m. while feeling the wind blow as you pedal your bike with friends and family down Kern River Parkway Trail.

All ages and skill levels are encouraged to come. The ride is a comfortable, 10-12 mph pace and welcomes riders of all kinds.

Lights and helmets are strongly encouraged. The ride will follow the Kern River Parkway Trail west from Beach Park and turn South at CSUB, continue on the bike path through CSUB campus, and end at the Marketplace.

California Vehicle Code requires bicyclists under age 18 to wear a helmet. The vehicle code also requires bicycles to have a front facing headlamp and at least a red rear facing reflector when being ridden at night. It’s not only the law, but a great way to keep yourself safe.

The ride is finished once the group reaches the Marketplace, so make sure you have a plan to get back to where you started! Some like to park at the Marketplace and ride to Beach Park prior to the start of the ride so they may enjoy the rest of the evening without having to ride back.
