We will be heading out on our adventure from Beach Park at 2 pm on Saturday May 5th. The ride is 13 to 15 miles depending on the route we take. There will be opportunities for fun, friendships, river floating, bike rides, camping, and BBQ. We will leave the campground by 12 pm on Sunday May 6th.

You do have the option of joining us at the Kern River Campground by reserving your own site. If you want to join in on our food option we will be preparing snacks, dinner, and breakfast for $20. If you would like to ride with us and can't take your gear on your bike, we can transport your gear for a $10 fee. Choose your options below and we will follow up with you for payment. Current Bike Bakersfield members will receive a discount on the listed prices.

Communal meals will be prepared by the group. Trust me, it will be scrumptious.

On May 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM, the Ride of Silence will traverse and unite the globe as nothing before it. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn't aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.
