Bike Bakersfield
Phone:661-321-9247
Address: 1708 Chester Ave

We are open on Second Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm! Stop in for a tune up and let’s ride around downtown.

During this event we will have a condensed bike safety lesson, discuss rules of the road and go on a ride! We will be riding on the streets downtown practicing the skills discussed in the safety presentation. You will need a helmet and a working bike for the class. If you need either of these, please come to Bike Bakersfield and we will get you fixed up! We are suggesting participants to become a member of Bike Bakersfield for taking the class.

    Date: Tuesday, October 23rd, 7 p.m.

    Location: Beach Park

About: Join us for a family-friendly, all-ages cruise starting at Beach Park and following the bike path to the Marketplace. The ride is finished once the group reaches the Marketplace, so make sure you have a plan to get back to where you started! Some like to park at the Marketplace and ride to Beach Park prior to the start of the ride so they may enjoy the rest of the evening without having to ride back.

FYI: California Vehicle Code requires bicyclists under age 18 to wear a helmet. The vehicle code also requires bicycles to have a front facing headlamp and at least a red rear facing reflector when being ridden at night. Its not only the law, but a great way to keep yourself safe!
