Aaron
Entering a bike shop can be intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. Chances are Aaron is going to be the first face you’ll see at Bike Bakersfield. He’s almost always smiling and loves talking about bikes! He started at Bike Bakersfield as a Recycle-A-Bike volunteer way back when he was in high school, so he knows what it’s like to volunteer and lead the shop. He’s an experienced bicycle commuter and incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to all things bikes!
Dash
Dash grew up up on the east side of Bakersfield, been an artist for 15 years, and been helping with bike repairs for over 10 years. He’s also father of two year old Corduroy who is amazing on his bike already. Bike Bakersfield and Bike Arvin are so lucky to have Dash on staff who has been riding with us for eight years and counting!
Asha
Asha is our programs manager and most often the glue that holds us all together! She was recently named to Bakersfield 20 Under 40 People to Watch. She holds a degree in public health policy and criminology from UC Irvine, and has worked in the AmeriCorps and several other nonprofits. Asha has strong moral character, stands up for those in need, all while working her butt off for Bike Bakersfield. She’s not only a hard worker, but an intelligent worker, finding solutions to problems in new and ingenious ways! We love Asha and are very proud to have her on staff.

Natalie is our team mom and communications manager. She holds a degree in journalism from BYU and was previously a reporter before joining the Bike Bakersfield staff. She’s a busy mom of three, but still finds time to power our website, press releases, newsletter, social media and more. Natalie can most often be seen carting children to parks and ice cream with her bicycle equipped with a child seat.
