On Friday and Saturday, Bike Bakersfield hosted the Smart Cycling Course to teach residents how to navigate traffic with hand signals and commute safely on a bike. The course was led by Bike Bakersfield program director Jack Becker at the Community Resource Department in downtown Bakersfield.
