Ride your bike with us and plant a tree at Yokuts Park on Saturday, Oct. 6 starting at Bike Bakersfield.
9:00-9:30AM: Meet at Bike Bakersfield: 1708 Chester Ave.
*riders under 18 are required by law to wear a helmet
*we can do minor repairs if needed, but riders must come early
9:30-10:00AM: Ride to Yokuts Park (approx. 2.5-3 miles)
10:00-1:00PM: Tree Planting Ceremony, food and exhibitor fair
There will be food, festivities, and information on Clean Air Day from our partners including the Tree Foundation of Kern, Project Clean Air, Kern Council of Governments, CommuteKern, Valley Clean Air Now, Kern Transit, Coalition for Clean Air, and SoCalGas.
